Watch the Sundance Grand Jury Prize Winner ‘Minari’ Trailer

The heart wrenching trailer for the Lee Isaac Chung written and directed Sundance Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award winner Minari is out now. The coming-of-age film documents childhood memories of growing up in an immigrant family in rural-Arkansas. Described as a ‘sweeping and transformative story of a Korean family putting down roots in the American heartland’, it’s slated to be depict the raw realities of pursuing the American dream, where success relies on father Jacob (Steven Yuen) to turn a small piece of land into a Korean fruit and vegetable farm, or lose everything. The production company that brought you Moonlight and mid90s – A24 is behind the film, along with Plan B Entertainment. The official release date is still TBA.
