Watch Skate Collective VICTORIA’s Short Film On Hong Kong Creative Culture

Photographer and co-founder of Asian creative production house Postcard, Patrik Wallner, teamed up with Hong Kong skate brand VICTORIA to create a 13-minute short film to document their unique journey and give an insight into the brand. The collective started out as a side-project and quickly became an outlet of creativity for their crew of skaters, artists, and musicians and how they’ve become an undeniable influence on the local skateboarding scene.

Founded in 2015, VICTORIA connects generations and communities throughout Asia through skateboarding, music, and art. The brand is inspired by “Hong Kong’s juxtaposition of old/new and East/West by incorporating traditional local elements and reinterpreting them in a new and contemporary way.”

The new line serves as a creative outlet and helps diversify different styles for the younger generation outside of the most well-known brands. Tackling mental health, The Ben Raemers Foundation has also been created with the aim of “breaking down fears, improving knowledge and changing preconceptions and misgivings around mental health stigma and taboos.”
