Ta-ku Teams Up With QRATES For ‘In Good Hands Vol. 1’ Compilation, Ft. Masego, Wafia, Sango & More

Prolific Australian producer Ta-ku has curated the first volume ‘In Good Hands’ compilation series with Tokyo based vinyl crowdfunding platform QRATES.

“It’s about connectivity, really,” says Regan Mathews, of the inaugural Qrates compilation. Better known as Ta-ku, the Perth-based producer behind the heart-rending ‘Songs to Break Up To’ album, and high-profile remixes for Flume, Chet Faker, BANKS, Childish Gambino and Justin Timberlake has curated features from many of his friends, collaborators and contemporaries.“Nearly everyone on the record are people that I’ve had existing relationships with, whom I have known for a really long time, in the music industry and on a personal level, as well,” he says. “They’re people that I really admire—not only in their music but also as people.”

QRATES is the world’s first vinyl crowdfunding platform, changing the way independent artists put music in their fans’ hands by enabling design, on-demand pressing, sales, storage, and shipping.
