LA producer Flying Lotus has teamed up with Netflix for their new anime series ‘Yasuke’. Flying Lotus worked as an executive producer on the show and helped create the story, as well as writing and recording the original score, which features traditional Japanese instruments.
‘Yasuke’ follows a Black samurai based loosely on a real historical figure who served under the warlord Oda Nobunaga in 16th-century Japan. Stream the full soundtrack below, with features from Thundercat, Denzel Curry, and Niki Randa.
