Frank Ocean’s Website Re-appropriated for Voter Registration

In the midst of a heated lead up to the 2020 Presidential Election between Trump and Biden, numerous public figures are stepping in to use their platform to encourage voter turn out. The latest of which is Frank Ocean turning blonded.co into a voter registration initiative, encouraging people to make their voices heard.

In 2018, Ocean offered free merchandise to those who showed up to vote in key midterm democratic races and broadcast three special midterms episodes of his Apple Music 1 radio show Blonded.

US National Voter Registration Day on September 23 also saw Billie Eilish, Rihanna, Charli XCX and other celebrities also take to social media to urge their fans to vote.
