American dark-wave duo Boy Harsher have just shared the news of their new album ‘The Runner’ to be released on January 21st on their Nude Club label. The Runner (Original Soundtrack) is both an eight-track album and a short film that blends horror with footage of the group’s recording processes.
Written during 2020, the LP is their first since the 2019 album release, ‘Careful’, and sees vocalist Jae Matthews and producer Augustus Muller explore themes of lust, compulsion and seduction. Following the release of ‘The Runner’, Boy Harsher will go on tour to screen the film and play shows alongside Helm, Hiro Kone, Drab Majesty, Kris Baha and Lucy.
In support of the announcement, the duo have shared the first release from the album, titled ‘Tower’.
