Internationally renowned for his kinetic light installations, Christopher Bauder has teamed up with Dutch musician Chris Kuijten for his seasonal Berlin highlight FLOW: the large-scale light show will be on display in the outdoor area of DARK MATTER from 31 May to 29 September, as part of SOMMERLIGHTS 2024.
The DARK MATTER outdoor area is open Wednesday – Sunday from 20:00, the installation then starts after sunset at around 21:30. From this point, FLOW runs continuously until midnight in a 40-minute loop – guests can join in at any time and stay as long as they like.
After SOMMERLIGHTS 2023 attracted tons of Berliners and visitors to the DARK MATTER outdoor area, this year’s event series will once again feature a colourful mix of DJ sets and live events: In addition to Max Cooper (8th June), Ellen Allien (19th July) and KiNK (30th August), who were already at the controls at SOMMERLIGHTS last year, more artists will be added over the course of the season – interested parties can keep up to date with all the dates via Instagram and the DARK MATTER homepage, as well as the newsletter.
Tickets are now available online for €10, children up to the age of 6 do not pay admission (tickets at the box office: €12).
