If you haven’t already been to one of their parties, make Lunchbox Candy (LBC) your next stop in Berlin’s network of hedonistic alcoves. Conceived in lockdown by music producer/floor agitator Elninodiablo and film/creative director and DJ Adam Munnings, LBC is quickly becoming a vital hub and space where the finest of Berlin’s creative community gathers to give full vent to its all-embracing fantasies. A safe, queer, sex-positive space, LBC was conceived as a gesture of gratitude towards the people who have made their past, present and future creative ventures possible. They intend to weave together open and creative souls into a weightless, prejudice-free carnival where you can fully and unstintingly assert your inner drag and exuberant self in the friendliest and most intimate environment. The array of artists and collaborators involved share the very same DNA and love for lively, genre-unbound partying.
With a carefully staged atmosphere, music policy and set design, the bi-monthly party has become as a catalyst to embrace all the energy and talent gravitating throughout our community. Spanning from music to film, photography, styling, art, movement, sexuality, radical self-expression, love and joy – it’s all about providing a space that enables connection.
Elninodiablo explains: “Lunchbox Candy was born out of our creative collaboration with Adam Munnings – our work through the 5 music videos we produced so far (watch here) has brought together an incredible community of like minded and talented people from all kinds of disciplines.. LBC is an extension of that bringing our community into a live space for celebration. It’s sexy, inclusive, unapologetic, joyful and extravagant! We encourage people to radically express themselves and we open the space for performances (aside from the DJs) whether it’s live music, photography, drag, fashion and film. Out motto: A sequin-studded, love bursting, high-heel-perched devotion to the groove! See you on the dancefloor”
